Ferneyhough Contemporary is pleased to present a selection of contemporary sculpture by Ted Fullerton, Allan Hirsh, Marlene Hilton Moore, Lori-Grace Johnson, Rob O'Flanagan, Cheryl Ruddock and Jeannie Thib. Sculpture features prominently in each artist's practice, some exclusively. The exhibition includes examples of the two main types of sculpture: relief in which the image projects from or sinks into the surface and in the round whereby the image or object is free-standing and can be seen from all sides. Using a variety of processes including moulding, assembling, constructing, casting and carving the artists demonstrate the many ways sculpture is created and share with us the beauty of three-dimensional art.
A reception will take place March 21, from 7 - 9:30 pm in conjunction with the Downtown Gallery Hop.
